This is the David Braganini be nice. Memorial Fund.
This is dedicated to our friend and brother, David Braganini, who took his own life at the age of 65
Devastated by this loss, David's family established this Foundation
in the effort to bring a better understanding of
depression, bullying and suicide.
Learn about the be nice. initiatve brought to you by
the Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan.
A school program that teaches us the importance of understanding
depression, bullying and suicide.

Christy Buck is the Executive Director of the
Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan.
She is dedicated to bringing these issues into the light
so we are more aware,
and thoughtful when dealing with others.
This lecture was given at a Tedx event. Social activist Megan Shinnick speaks out about the misconceptions of depression, and the social flaws that have increased the illness among teens. Schools don’t have the resources to help students suffering from depression or anxiety.
This is what be nice. is all about. Be nice. is an initiative that goes into our schools, K-12th grade. This is what the
David Braganini be nice. Memorial Fund
is all about. We are bringing this important program to Kalamazoo and Van Buren Counties. The program will be in place for the 2017-18 school year. We match your donation so this fund will continue in
Dave’s memory for years to come.

Twenty-seven schools unite to 'be nice.'

His passion.  His life.  His legacy.
Mental illness conditions are treatable.
Suicide is preventalbe.
Hope is real.
